BeemTeamRentals:
Co-Host FAQ

1. Is my car safe with BeemTeamRentals?

Yes. All trips are hosted through Turo, which provides insurance-backed protection, identity verification, and license checks before any renter is approved. On top of that, we are integrating extra safeguards like GPS tracking, non-intrusive dash cams, and eventually speed monitoring to keep your car protected.

3. How much can I earn as a co-host?

Earnings depend on the type of vehicle, demand in your area, and how often you want it booked. For example, a BMW X3 30i could bring in $1,000–$1,500/month with steady bookings. We work with you to set pricing, mileage limits, and availability that balance utilization with profitability.

5. What if I don’t live near your California base?

You can still co-host! Owners outside California handle the local logistics (keys, cleaning, maintenance), while we manage all marketing, scheduling, and platform operations. Security devices like dash cams and GPS trackers will be shipped to you if you opt in.

2. What happens if a renter damages my car?

If any damage occurs during a trip, it is documented and processed through Turo’s claims system. You’re covered under the protection plan you choose, and payouts are clear and transparent. You’ll never be left alone to chase down repairs.

4. Who handles the logistics?

We do. From guest scheduling, messaging, and advertising to setting up photos and listings, we manage the digital side of hosting. All you need to do is ensure the vehicle is clean, maintained, and ready for guests.

6. What cars qualify for co-hosting?

We focus on reliable, desirable BMWs that don’t carry widespread major engine issues. At this stage, we’re avoiding models with high failure risks like early N20, N54, N63, S63, or S85 engines. Our priority is cars that deliver guests a premium experience without excessive downtime for repairs.

7. How do payouts work?

Payments are handled securely through Turo. You’ll receive your share automatically after each trip, usually within 3 business days. No invoicing, no delays.

9. Do I have to invest in special equipment?

Optional add-ons like GPS trackers or dash cams may be provided. If you’re co-hosting outside California, we’ll supply the devices, and you’ll handle installation. These add-ons increase security and help us document every trip clearly.

8. What’s the renter screening process like?

Turo handles identity and license checks for every renter. Minimum age limits are enforced by the platform, and we’ll be layering in our own monitoring (GPS, dash cams, usage tracking) to add accountability and peace of mind.

10. How do I get started?

Simply fill out our Co-Host Interest Form (linked on the site) and we’ll follow up with next steps. From there, we’ll walk you through protection plans, earning projections, and setup options.
