Before anyone gets behind the wheel, Turo verifies their identity and driving eligibility. This includes license checks and restrictions for younger drivers, ensuring that only responsible renters are approved.
Speed Monitoring & Remote Kill Switch

For added peace of mind, advanced security upgrades will soon include speed limit alerts and remote engine disable features. These tools help prevent abuse and protect vehicles from theft or reckless driving.
Secured Payments & Roadside Assistance
All transactions go through Turo’s secure system, keeping your payouts reliable and on time. In addition, renters have access to 24/7 roadside assistance during their trip, adding another layer of safety.

What can your car earn? On average, well-maintained BMWs in California bring in $500–$800+ per month, depending on demand and usage. M-Sport models and newer body styles often attract higher daily rates. These aren’t “promises” — they’re data-driven estimates you can measure against your own expectations.

Your BMW isn’t meant to rack up endless miles without oversight. That’s why we set clear mileage allowances that fit most California trips (think Bay Area ↔ LA or Tahoe). Additional miles are billed fairly and transparently. Guests know exactly what they’re allowed, and you know your car won’t be overdriven without accountability.

If you want peace of mind, the 60 or 70 plan is best — very low or no out-of-pocket if a renter damages your car.

If you want higher profits, you can move up toward the 80 or 90 plans, but you’ll take on more risk for repairs.
